Adding Images and Files



Two Ways to "Capture" an Image


Method #1
  1. Create or locate the image online
  2. Hold down the Shift and Apple (Control) Keys and hit the 4 to access a "selection cursor"
  3. Use the cursor to select the portion of the screen you want to "capture"
  4. The screen capture will be saved on your desktop as a .jpg or .png image file

Method #2

  1. Create or locate the image online
  2. Click on the image and drag it to your desktop

Note:

Each image uploaded to a Wikispace must have a unique name. Thus, you may need to change the name of the image while it's on your desktop. To change the name of an image:
  1. Click once on the image and wait a few seconds for the name to be highlighted
    rename.jpg
  2. Type the new name, being sure to leave the suffix .pict, .jpg or .png as part of the new name.

Adding the Image to Wikispaces

  1. Click on the File icon
    file-icon.jpg
